Growing up in California’s produce industry, Chef Todd’s style of cooking and dedication
to responsible sourcing has brought him from commanding a fine dining kitchen to, most
recently, launching a premium craft butcher shop, The Meatery & Marketplace, in Seaside California.
Over the last three decades, Chef Todd has held several prestigious kitchen posts around the Monterey Peninsula. He has orchestrated lively culinary collaborations such as Pebble Beach Food & Wine, Disney Food & Wine, created the Chef Duel cooking competition and also dedicated his time to youth and culinary philanthropies. He has traveled the country as the celebrated host of "The United States of Bacon" on Discovery Network. Locally, he has also been voted “Monterey County's Favorite Chef,” an honor he embraces graciously.
Back in 2017, when Chef Todd took to creating the ambiance of a big city restaurant tucked in cozy Carmel-by-the-Sea, with the title of an American Steakhouse, his first step was cultivating a relationship with Niman Ranch. Seventh & Dolores Steakhouse launched the country's only exclusive Niman Ranch menu and established the first Niman Ranch dry-aging program. Fisher is an expert when it comes to using the finest ingredients, perfectly prepared, and this approach is the cornerstone of Chef Todd’s culinary style. The Meatery is an extension of that philosophy and is a place for customers to access exceptional quality with a chef’s expertise and the service of an old school butcher shop.
Prior to his departure in 2021, Seventh & Dolores, Chef Todd, and his culinary team proudly gained the recognition of a Michelin Plate award, and in 2018, were honored with an invitation to cook at the legendary James Beard House in NYC.

Considering all of his professional accomplishments, Chef Todd’s most prestigious titles are Husband and Father as he shares his life in Carmel Valley, California with his beautiful bride, Ada, and their five amazing children.
